Dominion Voting Systems

Dominion’s internet system uses a smart client application for electronic ballots. Dominions approach utilizes advanced compiler techniques to produce a smart client electronic ballot application that electors can download and use to cast their vote. Each elector can vote only once. The associated voter identification code is flagged and cannot be used to download another electronic ballot. Electronic ballots are built for Windows operating systems and Mac Apple operation systems.

The Elector Management system and the Automated Voter Recording (AVR) solutions are modules of Dominion’s eVote Suite election management system. They are integrated with a voter tracking system that is used for internet voting services. The role of the elector management system is to produce a complete and accurate voter’s list. The elector management database holds all of the relevant information about the voter. The AVR system is responsible for registering and tracking voters on Election Day and works in combination with electronic pollbook (or notebook) devices, equipped with barcode scanners and modems.
