Vote Tabulators

The core of Dominion Voting System’s automated election solutions is the decentralized voter location based unit, the CF200 paper ballot tabulator. The CF200 machine is one of the most advanced of its kind, featuring audit trail features, integrated audio ballot capabilities that transform each voting location into a fully audio system and are the only vote tabulators that feature fully digital read-outputs.

On Election Day, the CF200 device stores results on the internal compact flash card (also called the memory card) in raw and tabulated format. The CF200 also keeps a back up copy of the tabulated results in the internal memory, accessed only by security key. Election results on the memory card are manually delivered to the central location (City Hall) after 8:00 pm on Election Day. The memory cards for the units are inserted into the central reporting unit for processing, certification and publishing.
